A maior parte das cenas foi gravada em vilarejos, como Slough, Berkshire, Surrey e a Floresta de Dean. Todas essas localidades preservam características medievais, o que ajudou os produtores e os atores a definirem a atmosfera mágica e lendária de Cursed.
Segundo o portal americano Atlas of Wonders, Surrey foi o principal lugar para as gravações! Todo o vilarejo de Nimue (Katherine Langford) foi construído em uma antiga base militar.
Já a Floresta de Dean foi utilizada para cenas de batalhas na floresta. Localizada em Gloucestershire, a floresta também já foi o cenário de filmes como Star Wars e a saga Harry Potter.
A coroação de Nimue foi filmada na Igreja de São Bartolomeu, em Londres. Os estúdios da Langley Film, em Berkshire, serviram para cenas “indoor”, ou seja, gravadas em ambientes internos e que não precisavam de cenários específicos.
A primeira temporada de Cursed – A Lenda do Lago já está disponível na plataforma de streaming.
