O MTV Video Music Awards 2025 (VMA) aconteceu neste domingo (7), direto da UBS Arena, em Nova York, e reuniu alguns dos maiores nomes da música mundial. A cerimônia, apresentada por LL Cool J, contou com shows grandiosos, homenagens a lendas da música e premiou artistas que marcaram o último ano com clipes e álbuns de destaque.
Quem mais brilhou na noite foi Lady Gaga, que levou para casa quatro estatuetas “Moon Person”, incluindo Artista do Ano. Já Ariana Grande conquistou o prêmio mais aguardado, de Vídeo do Ano, com “Brighter Days Ahead”. A cantora ainda saiu com outras duas vitórias, totalizando três troféus. Sabrina Carpenter também se destacou ao vencer três categorias, incluindo Álbum do Ano com Short n’ Sweet.

Além disso, a premiação celebrou momentos especiais: Mariah Carey recebeu o Video Vanguard Award, Ricky Martin foi homenageado como Latin Icon, e Busta Rhymes ganhou o título de Rock the Bells Visionary. Todos eles também subiram ao palco para performances memoráveis que levantaram o público.
