A Konami anunciou, via Twitter, que eFootbal PES 2020 irá ganhar uma versão gratuita a partir da próxima semana. A versão Lite, já conhecida por também ser disponibilizada para os games anteriores da franquia, é um port limitado do game base, com foco na interação no modo online MyClub, similar ao Ultimate Team do concorrente FIFA.
