O Golden Joystick Awards 2025 celebrou sua 43ª edição nesta quinta-feira (20), em Londres, reunindo jogadores, desenvolvedores e a imprensa especializada para uma das cerimônias mais tradicionais da indústria. A festa destacou tanto grandes blockbusters quanto produções independentes, e um nome se destacou.
Quem brilhou mais forte foi Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, que saiu do evento como o grande vencedor. O RPG da Sandfall Interactive levou sete prêmios, incluindo o cobiçado Ultimate Game of the Year, além de Melhor Narrativa, Melhor Direção de Arte e Melhor Trilha Sonora.
A marca colocou Clair Obscur lado a lado com gigantes como Baldur’s Gate 3, campeão absoluto de 2023. Além de brilhar como jogo do ano, a aventura sombria ainda garantiu troféus importantes para seu elenco. Jennifer English venceu como Melhor Performance em Papel Principal, enquanto Ben Starr levou o prêmio de Melhor Performance em Papel Coadjuvante.

Entre conquistas em categorias como Melhor Direção de Arte, Melhor Trilha Sonora e Melhor Narrativa, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 consolidou-se como um dos maiores fenômenos de 2025. A Sandfall Interactive também foi coroada Estúdio do Ano, resultado direto do sucesso crítico e de popularidade do RPG.
Outros destaques incluem Ghost of Yōtei, que garantiu prêmios técnicos importantes, e Hollow Knight: Silksong, que finalmente faturou reconhecimento como Melhor Indie Self-Published e Jogo de PC do Ano — um alívio para fãs que aguardam novidades há anos.
Além das produções autorais e indies, títulos gigantes também marcaram presença. GTA 6 levou Jogo Mais Aguardado e teve o segundo trailer eleito Melhor Trailer do Ano. Já Minecraft e Pokémon GO reafirmaram sua longevidade vencendo as categorias “Still Playing”.

Na parte de hardware, a AMD saiu na frente com o Ryzen 9 9950X3D, apontado como o mais impressionante de 2025. E até clássicos ganharam espaço: The Sims entrou para o Hall da Fama, homenageando seu impacto cultural duradouro.
